What is the National Restricted GNS certification?
The National Restricted GNS (National Security Office) is a Portuguese certification that was developed for the products, equipment and services involved in the processing and communication of classified information, which requires accreditation by the GNS/ANS, under the attributions and competencies provided for in Decree-Law no. 3/2012, Article 2(3)(f) and Article 4(2)(f), , in its current wording.
National Restricted GNS (National Security Office) certification is based on NIST SP800-53 R5 and CSA CCM v4 frameworks, with the goal of protecting classified data processing and transmission.
