Amazon EC2 (Elastic Compute Cloud) instances are virtual servers on which you can run your applications and workloads, offering varying combinations of CPU, memory, storage, and networking resources. You can launch as many instances from as many different AMIs as you need.

    Usage instructions

    Connect to EC2 Linux instance using username "ubuntu" Port 22, and run following commands: #sudo su #sudo apt update Hit on Browser : http:// When prompted with a user and password for authentication, enter the below details: User: admin Password: Now, click on Set up the wiki. Here, choose your language as per your choice and click Continue. On MediaWiki welcome page, click on Continue. Enter Your Database Details as Below:

    Host: localhost Database name: mediawiki Database User: mediawiki Database Password: <INSTANCE_ID>

    click on the Continue. On Database settings Page, Select the Use the same account as for installation & click Continue. Create an admin as per your choice and click continue. Now, Select all your required settings and click on the Continue. click on Continue to start the installation. Once the installation is completed, You need to download the LocalSettings.php file and put it on MediaWiki root directory i.e,(var/www/html) by ssh into the Virtual Machine & then run this command to give permission.

    sudo chmod 664 /var/www/html/LocalSettings.php

    service apache2 restart

    Now click on Enter your wiki.
