    The Sapphire CAA10 Cloud Automation Appliance (CAA) enables simple, scalable cloud IPAM automation to maintain an accurate IP address and DNS repository across your multi-cloud and enterprise network. Use automation to call the CAA appliance within your orchestration workflows to automate IP address and DNS name assignment for public or private cloud instantiations, to allocate subnets, to discover and reconcile IPAM information and more.

    Pricing and entitlements for this product are managed outside of AWS Marketplace through an external billing relationship between you and the vendor. You activate the product by supplying an existing license purchased outside of AWS Marketplace, while AWS provides the infrastructure required to launch the product. Subscriptions have no end date and may be cancelled any time. However, the cancellation won't affect the status of an active license if it was purchased outside of AWS Marketplace.

    An AMI is a virtual image that provides the information required to launch an instance. Amazon EC2 (Elastic Compute Cloud) instances are virtual servers on which you can run your applications and workloads, offering varying combinations of CPU, memory, storage, and networking resources. You can launch as many instances from as many different AMIs as you need.

    Usage instructions

    Once you launch your instance, ssh to the instance as appadmin using the key you specified during launch. To access the instance, you will need to have either a VPN configured for the VPC that the instance resides in or an elastic IP that points to the instance. Once you configure the instance, it will reboot and you may login via incadmin or appadmin with the public key. Configure the appliance type as "Sapphire EX System" and the Sapphire EX System Type as "Cloud Automation Appliance". To generate a license key, navigate to the Configuration > CAA API Services Configuration menu. Select Generate License Data and send the resulting file to your Diamond IP representative or to our customer support center.
