Overview
Node-RED simplifies event driven automation, tying together APIs and hardware easily with no code. You also have the option of writing your own custom JS code if you are an advanced user. There is an easy to use dashboard that allows flow editing and drag and drop your API or hardware connections based on events. Node-RED supports npm and Node.JS, so integrating the vast library and packages of JS can easily be done. There is also additional security features that have been added , including https, password protected dashboard ( have instructions to customize. ) , UFW host firewall, Crowdsec Intrusion Protection System, Automated Security Patching, and Auditd Logging.
