Miniconda is a free minimal installer for conda. Miniconda allows you to create customized environments by installing additional packages from the thousands of additional packages. You can create separate environments for each project and easily share your environment with others for easy reproducibility.

Miniconda is a small bootstrap version of Anaconda. It includes only Conda and Python, and a small number of other useful packages like pip, zlib, and a few others. Miniconda is lightweight and quick to install, making it a great choice if you're working with limited disk space or only need specific packages. If you need more packages, use the conda install command to install from thousands of packages available by default in the public repo of Anaconda, or from other channels, like conda-forge or bioconda.

- Programmatic system credentials and cryptographic keys are not required for this product.
- Following are some basic commands related to this product:
- To check the installed version of Miniconda: conda --version
- Update Miniconda to the current version: conda update conda
- To create an environment named as "env1": conda create --name env1 python=3 NOTE: "env1" is name of environment.
- You can easily activate the created environment variable by utilizing the following command: conda activate env1
- For deactivating, the environment, write-out this command: conda deactivate
- Below are the minimum external resources subscriber needs to have to use this product:
- An Internet Connection is required in order for this product to function as expected.
- We recommend keeping your crucial data in a custom made encrypted EBS in order to save from termination in future.
