Approach:

Using Ataccama ONE, Adastra will provide the methodology and training around performing data profiling, data cataloguing, and creating a business glossary. AWS Glue can be used for data wrangling and consolidation and data can be persisted in Amazon S3.

Adastra will work with client resources as a mixed team to train by doing.

Pilot Scope:

• 10 glossary terms
• 25 entities (tables/files)
• 10 metadata fields collected at the entity level (location, security classification, owner, stewards, types of elements, number of fields, description etc.)
• 200 fields - basic profile and glossary tagging

Duration: 6 Weeks

Assumptions/Dependencies:

• Adastra must have access to the organization’s documentation to produce quality data
• No DQ rules or validation for monitoring will be implemented
• No metadata at the field level will be collected
• The project will utilize a Business SMEfor glossary term definition @25% over 4 weeks
• The project will utilize one of our System SME’s for system metadata collection @25% over 4 weeks

• Ataccama ONE technology must already be selected and have been purchased
