Never have any issues, works well.
What do you like best about the product?
Its simple to operate and understand. Have had to download on multiple new computers and its always very easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not a lot i can complain about. Reliable and consistent product and I get the help I need if I have any questions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Securing our network and customer information in a simple, easy to use system. Gives me peace of mind.
Superb Firewall and Top notch Protection
What do you like best about the product?
Sophos XG has a very organized dashboard. Easy to create rules and policies. Feel the great difference on the protection side compare to the old firewall in our organization.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only dislike is that once the firewall is delinked from Sophos central then there is no way to get that firewall back to central remotely. This is not good for an organization like us which has firewalls deployed in multiple locations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sophos XG has played a huge role in integrating our POS throughout the company, as the rules and policies are very easy to set with great protection.
XG Firewall - Easy to use and a must have heartbeat bundle with Endpoint protection
What do you like best about the product?
Sophos XG Firewalls are easy to deploy and configure. When integrated with Sophos Central and Endpoint protection you are able to manage and monitor all your workstations and servers from one pane of glass. The dashboard is complete, easy to use, and easily becomes one of the most viewed resources in managing your IT infrastructure. The reporting function built in to the XG Firewalls is easy to look at and find the information you need when you need it. In conjunction with the Sophos End Points, we have averted two ransomware attacks whereas Sophos intervened as designed and shut down the ransomware before it could spread. I do want to stress that everyone should have Sophos support help them review their Sophos Central settings and make sure they have all the protection they want/need active and running.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sophos should up their game on support wait times, this has been a challenging year for everyone, so I am hopeful that we see far less hold times in the future.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Central Administration along with central monitoring of all security threats, using XG firewalls and Sophos Central together. Ensuring all our branch offices are behind an Enterprise-level firewall, with cascading rules that keep all sites secure.
Awesome Firewall
What do you like best about the product?
The firewall was easy to set up and has great reporting. Having is next-gen firewall has been a great security measure for us. The SSL VPN set up has helped greatly with home users needing access to office printers. The support for the firewall is wonderful.
What do you dislike about the product?
GUI can be more user friendly. Free training for the firewall could be helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed home users to have secure VPN access and the firewall provided that for us. Ease of user setup on the firewall and blocking intrusion is nice. Having cloud access to the firewall has been great.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Sophos has a great firewall and paired with their InterceptX is wonderful. I know my computers, servers, and devices are safe.
I love the XG Firewall, it comes with so many features that give high security to a small business.

I like that it encompasses a number of different feature that allow you to have high protection as a small business.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be a little buggy here and there, and support has been pretty bad lately.

It is so nice to have access to protection at this level within a small business.
Upon purchasing the XG Firewall I was immediately impressed by the simplicity and usability.
What do you like best about the product?
Right out of the box it took less time to setup and integrate to my network than other products that preform similar functions. I have issues with other products that I have not experienced with the XG firewall I would defiantly recommend this to anyone who wants great security with a simple interface.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is absolutely nothing I can complain about.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have been able to limit restricted websites easily as well as presumptively mitigate the various attempts to hack out network that we have dealt with in the past.

What do you like best about the product?
As an MSP, I only use Sophos firewalls for my clients. Since Sophos acquired the Cyberroam product, they've only continued to make it better and better, taking what they learned from the UTM product and putting it into the XG line. Its the only product that works in tandem with your endpoint protection to secure you network. Having the firewall also manage my wireless network, easily keeping guest traffic separate, is another big plus.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's a few minor features that need to be updated, such as the ability to delete dhcp leases or reboot APs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With the integration with Sophos Central, I can manage all of my clients' network protection from one console. I can manage their endpoint protection, their email filtering, as well as their firewall. The XG firewall has been bulletproof for security.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Consider all of the security and features built-into the product. You pay for different levels of licensing, but basic things like logging are included. With Sophos APs, you can manage your wireless devices with no extra cost. Putting firewall appliances in high availability failover setup is a great feature too.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the simple user interface of the firewall. Rule creation is easy and intuitive. Advanced networking features are very useful, and support from Sophos has been great.
What do you dislike about the product?
Since Sophos is at the forefront of development in their XG firewall line, sometimes firmware updates introduce their own bugs. I can't trust all firmware updates and have to wait to read forum reviews of each one prior to deployment.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using Sophos XG firewalls at each of our branch locations to unify the security of both internal and external communications. We also use the XG firewalls to network our offices together with IPSec, thus allowing us to get away from expensive MPLS. Further, we have really used the XG firewalls to enable a rapid work from home shift with integrated VPN.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I believe XG firewall is a great choice for small and medium businesses looking for a way to secure their networks and provide an intuitive, comprehensive way to network their locations.
Very Reliable, Secure, and easy to manage.
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to manage all of our XG devices from the Sophos Central portal is amazing. I can log into all devices from one single pane of glass and run reports, check the logs, and make configuration changes.
What do you dislike about the product?
We had issues setting up high availability on all of our locations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can run reports on all of our locations without having to manage multiple logins. We are using InterceptX in tandem with our XGs and the collaboration between the 2 services is unmatched.
