One of the best network monitoring tool
What do you like best about the product?
ManageEngine OpManager is the best tool available in the market for monitoring network devices. It provides real time alerts and this is one in the best feature I like the most.
What do you dislike about the product?
One of the thing which I can mention here is their support is not quite prompt.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's real time alert feature is really good and it helps us troubleshooting the issues promptly and timely manner.

Their servers are very laggy and slow sometime, which is very irratining.

Slowness issue of there server, if this can be solved then there good at there work

Take the guess work out of network monitoring
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to isolate traffic down to the work station is amazing. Watching packet analysis of routers, instant uptime viewing of all networks and the ability to drill down to find out where problems lie. This easily automates 80% of our work.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are too many different types of licenses. It is the equivalent of an onion. Everytime you discover an another amazing module within the package which will help, you have to buy an additional license.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have one site which has an extremely limited internet connection. Through packet analysis and NetFlow analysis, we are able to maintain the connection to its optimal. This includes allowing us to make procedural changes on how our software is used and when network heavy software must be limited.

I like that its inexpensive and can integrate multi-vendor platforms for servers and network equipment.

Sometimes after an upgrade we have to re-enable some notifications

We needed a multi-platform management solution which it accomplished. didn't have a big budget but needed notification and monitoring.
