Hootsuite - easy and straightforward to use

What do you like best about the product?
Clear interface. Simple to use. Like that you can see how each post will look on different platforms
What do you dislike about the product?
Could have more features. Emojis are a bit tricky to find and you have to click the 'x' to close the window, won't let you continue the post without clicking off it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
scheduled posts and posts to 3 platforms at once

What do you dislike about the product?
Je trouve domage que le format des photos Intagram ne s'arriment pas avec le reste des autres médias sociaux. Cela nous demande du travail manuel supplémentaire. Fort heureusement, je n'ai plus à l'utiliser dans le cadre de mes fonctions.

What do you like best about the product?
My favorite part about the Hootsuite service is the analytics report. It makes my job so much more easier to respond to the trends and audience likes/dislikes.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the lack of options for social listening on Facebook.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite solves the need for data. This helps me when I have to present to my supervisors about how my work is impacting our team.

What do you like best about the product?
It makes my daily work easy, saves time, and keeps me safe as alerts me on everything happening on my channels. Also, the updated functions and blog content constantly help me to improve my knowledge and skills.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are a lot of changes and beta things on Hootsuite. That's a challenge when you are used to a few actions on the platform and suddenly something changes. Also, there is always space for improvement like adding more features or making the ux more friendly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As an admin of a mother company, I manage over 10 social media profiles daily. Hootsuite is the perfect tool to make my work easy and save me time on scheduling, monitoring, and managing channels. Also, the easiest part is sharing my content with our subsidiaries. Just one click and my content goes to 8 countries! Of course, I have to mention the approval stages which save mistakes that may happen from the creator(s) but the admin will note them.

Great tool to streamline scheduling

What do you like best about the product?
We use Hootsuite to schedule posts on FB, Insta, and Twitter/X. It's easy to upload media, write captions, and see the best times recommended to post. It's nice to have everything all in one. Customer service was also helpful when we had issues. Analytic metrics are great for comparing our progress to our competitors. We also occasionally use the AI tool to help brainstorm caption ideas, which is a great tool when you're in a creative rut. Overall, very happy with the program.
What do you dislike about the product?
We regularly post stories, which we have to do separately through Meta Business Suite. We also do reels through Meta. It'd be nice to be able to do that all in Hootsuite. We also experience a weird bug where the caption box goes rogue (customer service has helped us troubleshoot and fix this in the past but it still happens every once in a while, so weird.).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite helps us by not having to go to each individual platform to post, saving us time.

What do you like best about the product?
The customer support has been absolutely outstanding. Our team has had a lot of changes in budget and scope for the tool over the last few years and the team has fought to win our business and find terms that are agreeable. As for the platform, I've used it nearly every day. It makes posting easy and tracking performance easier. Cannot sing enough praise for Hootsuite!
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the platform can be a little slow to respond when making changes to captions, but overall it's a great experience!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite consolidates our social media platforms, making it easy to get posts out everywhere on time. It's ability to collect performance data and house it in one location is central to our social strategy and has greatly sped up our analytics process.

What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite provides my company a seamless social media outlet that allows us to post frequently and simultaneously without having to log in to other websites.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not dislike anything about Hootsuite. I have not had any negative experiences from using the platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite allows my company to utilize more time with work related things and less time posting and creating posts. Hootsuite benefits my team very well.

What do you like best about the product?
I enjoy the planner feature and analytics. Both have variations that allow for ease of use and customization.
What do you dislike about the product?
Biggest downsides are text limitations for premium accounts, translation to Facebook & LinkedIn with links and tagging. There are things that could be improved that don't require us to use the platforms for each post.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Bulk posting and scheduling, platform analytics.

Bad Customer Service, Unfair Contract Renewal & Excessive Pricing

What do you like best about the product?
We're using this tool from a long time and we didn't find any major issue in managing our social media posts for our cutomers. We can say that it's a easy to use tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
This is outrageous! Hootsuite is charging us an exorbitant amount – over $1,000 a month – for a service that barely meets our needs. We did our research and found several much more affordable options with way more integrations – features Hootsuite doesn't even offer, like GBP integration & many more!

To top it all off, when we tried to cancel, they slapped us with a "contract renewal" in January we never saw! They never bothered to check if we were happy with their service or even ask if we wanted to keep using it. It feels like we're stuck in some kind of contractual hostage situation, forced to pay a ridiculous price for a service that barely accommodates our team (fewer than 5 users and only 40 accounts, when their enterprise plan starts at 5 users and 50 accounts!).

Is this even legal? It seems like they don't care if their customers are satisfied. Their motto is basically, "Pay up or get out, but you're paying either way!" This is completely unacceptable.
