LMS that fits our needs

What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use for Administrators and for Students; reporting feature that feeds a PowerBI training report; look and feel of the site; trigger letter feature to remind people of upcoming events and auto assigned content.
What do you dislike about the product?
iDal calendar requests do not play well with Outlook.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Using the report feature to track training hours solved a problem with which we have wrestled for years (pivot tables were our go-to before Intellum). The platform is helping us train our users to be much more self sufficient and self directed with online learning that we create and launch through Intellum.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Intellum's reporting feature is extraordinary; our previous LMS had no reporting feature and I had no idea what we were missing until we started using the Intellum platform. I cannot imagine being with out that going forward. Intellum's customer service is prompt, professional, friendly, and accurate. When I need more answers about why something works as it does, the customer service rep does his / her best to dig deeper for me. Once we got set up and figured out how best to use this system, it has been very smooth managing our Instructor Led Training and our online content. Our managers like having a place to find content and classes for their teams; this platform makes it easy for them to register associates for technical, business, and values classes. As an Administrator, I appreciate the look and feel of the site, the depth to which I can customize Activities, Events, Learning Paths, and Collections to fit our business needs.

Intuitive User and Admin Interface

What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy the system is to use, both as a user and as an Admin. It's also great to have the choice to leverage other modalities for content development than your standard eLearning SCORM files.
What do you dislike about the product?
We had a customization we needed done through the development team that took longer than expected. We didn't know what to expect for the timeline, but it was longer than anticipated.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Multiple instances or organization types to segment audiences and experiences. Realized that it's relatively easy to do this.

What do you like best about the product?
Continuous improvements, enhances, and updates to the platform experience allows for more options to engage learners.
What do you dislike about the product?
Updates happen so frequently it can be difficult to keep updated due to other work obligations outside of building content in Exceed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Providing our members a competency-based learning experience that assesses learning gains and growth in the short-term as well as as behavior changes and improvements in decision-making.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are looking for a robust solution to engage your learners and provide state of the art online learning, there is no better platform that Intellum.

What do you like best about the product?
The Admin interface is very user friendly. It is very easy to create and publish courses in multiple formats within minutes to immediately reach out students. Their additional of Evolve to publish content directly to the platform without having to export and import files has been a game changer for us. Evolve also allows our users to complete content inline meaning they do not have to open a seperate tab. The Executive, customer support team and our CSM are all amazing to work with. They are quick to listen to suggestions and implement them into new feature releases for all clients. They use their own platform to leverage Admin Learning and curated content. Finally, the ability to publish public facing content and share specific reports as well as have them sent on a recurring basis, save us valuable time and energy.
What do you dislike about the product?
We have been with Intellum since 2008 and have seen constant and consistent enhancements year over year. Therefore, nothing really stands out as a negative. Integration and customization to our ever growing business processes is an on-going project and we are always discovering new tools and ways to leverage Exceed LMS to improve procedures and increase productivity.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Like most companies, we had to quickly pivot due to COVID-19 and Exceed LMS allowed us to seamlessly transition traditional classroom instructor-led training to virtual training and e-learning adjust without missing a beat. As previously mentioned , the additional of inline Evolve simplified and expedited this process for us.

Handles multiple demographics with ease, great support

What do you like best about the product?
Our company has multiple targeted demographics, and the Intellum Platform makes it easy to customize our learning content for each audience. We use it to host registration for in-person learning opportunities, and we host online training methods, such as e-learning modules, infographics, and user manuals. The platform is easy to learn and easy to use. We have a great Customer Success Rep who interfaces with us regularly to ensure our experience with the platform is effective for our learners. The help desk staff responds in a helpful and timely manner. Great opportunities to customize and brand the platform with to our company's preferences.
What do you dislike about the product?
Submitting a feature request to Intellum can be like sending a message into a black hole if you use their preferred method: an online form. If you use this method to submit, no tracking or response is returned. It just seems to disappear. We prefer to submit our feature requests directly to our Customer Success Rep. We've seen some success there, but generally we still have no idea about the status of our request until it is implemented, IF it is implemented. We've seen improvement in this area, but it can still be frustrating when you need a fast fix.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are providing training in a variety of formats to several diverse user groups. Our company provides learning opportunities in person and online through a variety of methods. It has been helpful to have everything in one platform, and easy to pull reports based on the information n the system. The reporting interface is relatively easy to use, and we've been able to offer custom access to managers who need to report on a subset of users or learning activities. This has helped us streamline our training and reporting and make more effective use of our time.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Intellum will help you with graphics and branding for your new site. Don't let that opportunity go to waste.

What do you like best about the product?
Being able to control everything we want, the ability to quickly build content, the branding controls, and the user experience is great.
What do you dislike about the product?
The way series of events are managed, the text editor is not good, there is also no good way to send 1 link to multiple organizations (deep links).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Trying to build a learning culture and having an experience that is easy and delightful for our users is awesome.

Flexible tool to build the LMS your clients needs

What do you like best about the product?
I like that it has so many features accessible to the user. Users (admins) can customize so many things with Intellum. It's easy to do our own branding and add it. I like that the tool is in constant evolution and that they keep adding more stuff. Also, the opportunity to add more and more modules to the system is a great +! I like the way their support team are always available to help us when we need them. One of the best thing for me is the ability to have access to the data I need. It brings our team to the next level as we are now more intelligence about the way we do business.

I like that I can give admin access to many users without have to pay every time. This way, my own users can generate their own report if they need one or add their own courses. I also like that we can integrate tools like mail chimp, zoom, google, and more! This way I don't have to duplicate the work from a tool to another and can automate a lot of communications directly in the system. Doing so makes it more appealing to the learners as well.

I simply love that we can create action links in the system. This allows us to save a lot of time booking trainings to our learners by making them click on a small link. Also helps us manage communications, I love it!
What do you dislike about the product?
I think that there could be some amelioration to the admin user interface. It can be really hard to find the stuff you need (since they have so many options) for new users. It can discourage you if you are not good with technology in general. Also, I think that the onboarding of new admin is really hard to manage, the training is self-paced, but not custom (course integration to our LMS would help so that we can select what we need, when we need it for the learners we have to manage).

I think that the learner experience also need a small upgrade, in terms of helping my users navigate through the system. For example, adding a new user "walkthtoug" of the system might help them get more familiar with it. This way they can find the learning content they need more quickly without having to contact an admin. (I know that part of their learners experience is related to the way we program our internal content as well, but these small upgrades would make the difference).

Customizing fonts and text on a page would be a good addition to the tool. Particularly in the letter and page section of the system.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
They are helping us track the completions of the courses we have available to our learners. And not only that, but identify potential issues with the courses themselves because of the data they give us access to.

I can be a 100% certain that someone will find a solution to my problems in a day or so. For example, last week I had an issue with the synchronization of reports with my Google Drive account and I got help from 2 technicians, the customer success associate and an engineer. They found the issue related to my account pretty quickly.

Also, when I first started using the tool, our customer success manager helped me and booked a customized meeting on a weekly basis to make sure I had all the information I needed to create the content I needed.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Be aware that onboarding may take more time than you plan using this tool. Use the help system and the customer success manager as much as you can.

What do you like best about the product?
The platform has enabled our agency to propell into the current ways of delivering learning. We are not better equipped to handle and deliver quality training to everyone in the agency. It is intuitive, easy to navigate, and has been a welcomed addition.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing that I dislike about the platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have solved the problem of having learning be a priority. Transitioning to a culture of continuous improvement and learning is a top priority and Intellum has been a huge support in that effort. The benefits of having a high capacity platform has really shown during the pandemic. More departments needed to shift to online learning and the LMS has really been able to support our growing workforce.
