What do you like best about the product?
Absorb is constantly evolving their software and rolling out new features and functionality. They are an up and coming disruptor in the LMS community by leveraging the ease of use of creating new courses, lessons and curriculum for learners. Their support team is very knowledgeable and are quick to identify solutions and causes of the any issues.
What do you dislike about the product?
More robust APIs with additional POST actions. Also, the ability to modify more of the system. I know Font changes are in the works but if the system could support more custom branding through the system especially in terms of the containerization options which are available in the New Learner Experience.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Partner and Client technical training, sales enablement, HR/Compliance for internal team members. Absorb administration makes it easy to create content quickly and get it in the hands of those that need the learning. We are actually using the Infuse API to create a custom User experience layer on top of the administration of Absorb. This will allow us to push custom challenges to users based on their profile, persona, etc.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Absorb is easy to use and has a lot of the features you would need in an LMS. They are constantly evolving to meet the growing needs of the community and are willing to help and support you in creating creative solutions to meet your needs.

Easy to launch, easy to use

What do you like best about the product?
We use Absorb to deliver trainings to a variety of clients, both internationally and domestically. I love how easy it is to create custom branding for each client. Launching courses is pretty quick and easy as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
Built in assessments are pretty limited. Reporting set up can be cumbersome, but once set up, it's easy to have them go out automatically.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Absorb has allowed us to transform our in-person trainings to on-demand and reach a larger audience.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure the reporting and built in assessments meet your needs. Also, they recently launched an app, but in the initial deployment, it seems very limited and does not fully meet our needs. This would be a significant improvement for our users.

What do you like best about the product?
The automation of training has been the most helpful in allowing us to get 100% of annual training completed. In years past we have only been able to complete 60% of training.
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't much I dislike. The support site is great for finding answers on how to do just about anything with the system.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tracking and completion of training has been the largest benefit to our organization. We are able to complete 100% of training by July instead of having only 60% of training completed at the end of the year.

What do you like best about the product?
My favorite part about Absorb LMS is how easily customizable it is to our specific needs. I also like how easy it is to set up meetings with our representative at Absorb to answer my questions. Finally, I like the tracking offered as to the progress of my users- I need to be able to see how far everyone is with their learning.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the reporting system- I wish theywere more highly customizable and more user friendly. I wish there was a little more tracking information for courses. For example, I wish I could see what sqecific questions my users answer correctly or incorrectly on quizzes so I can see where people are struggling specifically.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The LMS has really helped with scaling our training programs. Everyone throughout different geographical regions of the company can be learning the same material at the same time without having to fly our trainers out to present conceptual material.

What do you like best about the product?
Powerful under the hood but also intuitive interface. Developer has a "we can do that" attitude toward solving new use cases.
What do you dislike about the product?
Captions don't come over well with HTML5 export (at least when we try with our LMS).
Does not have native integrations with Hubspot, which is key to our workflows (e.g. add person to Hubspot when they sign in to course).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We add interactivity into video-based learning and export HTML5 onto another LMS. Koantic has allowed us to exactly that. The breadth of options inspired us to do even more than we originally thought.

What do you like best about the product?
I absolutely love how agile Absorb's LMS is! From initiating the project and configuring the system to ongoing administration and maintenance. Employees love how user friendly the system is and administrators love how easy it is to maintain (publishing courses, enrolling users, etc.).
What do you dislike about the product?
The support team is great to work with; however there are some instances where more technical requirements may take longer to solve. We recently were trying to integrate with an external vendor (through their SSO) and it took several months to try to solution. There were challenges on both the external vendor and Absorb.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Deploying courses globally via the system. We are not using as many facilitators as a result of eLearning which has resulted in cost savings. We also leverage the system to deploy annual compliance signoffs.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Very easy to implement and maintain! Would highly recommend for any company considering implmenting and LMS!

What do you like best about the product?
This is a state of the art LMS. I have seen nothing but great improvements since we first started using this platform. I was very impressed with the most recent update of the Current Learner Experience. Very user-friendly and looks sleek and is very functional.
What do you dislike about the product?
The biggest thing that comes to mind is not having the ability to charge users a yearly subscription. We have been told for over a year that this will be implemented, but still haven't heard!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This eases the process of onboarding in numerous ways. Saves upper level peoople so much time when bringing on a new employee because you can sign them up for an account and set them free!

What do you like best about the product?
The Absorb screens are fairly intuitive, and have multiple pathways to uncover the answers we seek. Our employee records are easy to enter and easier to pull into reports.
What do you dislike about the product?
Training our employees on some of the system terminology was challenging at times (i.e. the difference between courses and curricula).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are tracking all compliance training and elective training in this system. It is helpful to have API links that will monitor information stored in other bolt-on systems too. Absorb LMS is valuable as a centralized reporting database.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
When comparing all of the vendors who might be able to meet your needs, consider the intuitive nature of each product and the level of customer service each vendor can provide. Simple communication and intuitive screen layouts for our internal workers was a benefit of using Absorb.

What do you like best about the product?
Absorb's LMS lets us promote learning at all levels through our company and dealer network. The ability to set up career paths through learning has provided our users with a beneficial tool to enhance their careers. The administrative experience is intuitive allowing us to focus our time on our greatest assets...our people.
The internal experience has been so beneficial to us that we are now going with Absorb to train our dealer network around the globe.
What do you dislike about the product?
The reporting functionality is still a work in progress, the filters helps with some of this, though it still seems a bit clunky.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to provide training to all of our employees worldwide with Absorb. This allows employees and dealers to learn about Taylor Guitars at a time that works best for them. Recently we made the decision to move our external LMS for our dealer over to Absorb. This will allow us to leverage the social aspect of the tool with leaderboards and automatic messaging. We choose Absorb for the functionality and the ROI we believe we will get as a result of using it.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I recommend taking it for a spin, the user experience and administrative tools are important to anyone looking into investing in an LMS.

What do you like best about the product?
Administration is very user friendly. The support team provides great support. Navigating is straight forward.
What do you dislike about the product?
System enhancements are not top priority for absorb. Connectivity with outside applications seems to have functionality seems to not work all the time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
One place for all learning and development initiative. Completing annual sign offs in the system.

Ensure your in-house IT is able to help.
